Muscat: Modern Dairy Factory has emerged as a frontrunner, clocking OMR 1.45 million in revenue in H1 2025, a significant jump from the same period last year.

The launch of its new factory in Rusayl marks a major milestone in the company’s expansion strategy. Equipped with advanced pasteurization, fermentation, and automation systems, the facility aims to double production capacity, improve efficiency, and introduce a wider range of products tailored to both local and export markets.

Haitham bin Mohammed Al Fannah, CEO of Oman Flour Mills Company, described the new plant as a “qualitative leap” in dairy manufacturing, emphasizing the integration of international quality standards and sustainable practices at every stage, from sourcing raw materials to final distribution.

Al Fannah highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainability by reducing energy and water use, adopting waste management systems, and incorporating renewable energy technologies in collaboration with the parent group.

The company is also focusing on developing health-focused dairy products and strengthening its research and development to meet evolving consumer lifestyles. It continues to support local communities by sourcing from Omani suppliers, generating national job opportunities, partnering with schools and institutions, and promoting healthy eating through nutrition education campaigns.
