MUSCAT: Oman experienced wide temperature variation over the past 24 hours with the highest reaching 49.1°C in Hamra Ad Duru in Dakhliyah and the lowest dipping to 20.0°C in Dhalkut in Dhofar, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Other areas that experienced extreme heat include Al Sunaynah at 48.6°C, Muqshin 48.1°C and Ibri at 47.3 °C.
