MUSCAT – This marks a significant step toward enhancing the efficiency and transparency of government procurement operations.
The newly introduced feature allows approved suppliers to directly add and update their product data through the Supplier Management window within their Amana accounts. This update aims to improve data accuracy, streamline purchasing operations, and support price competitiveness across government tenders.
In a statement issued, the Authority indicated that the system would enable faster decision-making and better value procurement by ensuring access to up-to-date and verified supplier information. Suppliers are encouraged to explore and begin using the new feature.
The Amana platform specialises in managing government procurement requests, supplier data, and contract processes.
