MUSCAT – According to a statement from Oman Customs, the Directorate General of Customs, in cooperation with the Directorate General for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control, thwarted an attempt to smuggle 6.5 kilograms of marijuana through Salalah International Airport.
“The quantity was seized in the possession of a traveller of Indian nationality, after he hid it within his personal luggage,” the statement said.
