MUSCAT : According to TRA data, the number of 5G stations rose from 1,587 in 2021 to 6,319 by the first quarter of 2025, reflecting the country’s ongoing efforts to expand high-speed digital infrastructure nationwide.
The breakdown of station numbers over the years is as follows:
• 2021: 1,587 stations
• 2022: 2,600 stations
• 2023: 5,238 stations
• 2024: 5,856 stations
• 2025 (Q1): 6,319 stations
