MUSCAT : “Got a question or complaint about health insurance? Submit your complaint here: https://fsa.gov.om/” states the FSA notice.
This user-friendly online platform aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in addressing concerns, particularly those related to treatment approvals and delays in responses from insurance companies.
The FSA emphasised that the new system is designed to streamline complaint procedures, ensure transparency, and enhance follow-up efficiency.
“We would like to draw the kind attention of health insurance policyholders that the Financial Services Authority (FSA) welcomes inquiries and complaints related to health insurance, particularly regarding treatment approvals or delays in responses from insurance companies. These can be submitted through the FSA’s Electronic Complaints Management System, which accepts all types of complaints against entities licensed by the FSA. This aims to streamline procedures and ensure that all requests are documented and followed up efficiently,” the notice stated.
The FSA affirmed that the Electronic Complaints Management System is user-friendly and eliminates the need to submit complaints via email or by visiting the FSA’s premises in person.
