MUSCAT : Financed by the Agriculture and Fisheries Development Fund, the initiative seeks to support the Omani rose harvest sector in Jabal Akhdar by distributing essential supplies to farmers.
It aims to enhance the value-added potential of the region’s rose harvest through improved production quality, expanded marketing and manufacturing capabilities, and farmer training focused on product development derived from rose water.
With over 6,300 rose trees cultivated across more than 10 acres in the Wilayat, the rose harvest in Jabal Akhdar is considered one of Oman’s most distinctive agricultural products.
