MUSCAT – The Environment Authority, through its environment protector’s initiative, confirmed that an official violation report was filed against the company. The action was taken under Article 21 of the Environmental Protection Law, which prohibits actions that harm or degrade natural vegetation and green spaces.
“We remind everyone that green spaces are not passageways or parking lots, and that the Environmental Protection Law (Article 21) criminalizes such actions,” the Authority emphasised.
Wadi Darbat, known for its lush landscape and seasonal beauty, is a major tourist destination during the Khareef season.
