MUSCAT – In an official statement, the Ministry pointed out that several fake accounts and websites have surfaced online, falsely using its name and logo to deceive the public. It emphasised that the only legitimate source for news, services, and updates related to the Ministry is through its official communication channels.
“We have recently observed attempts to impersonate the Ministry and use its name for misleading promotional purposes on some digital platforms. We confirm that the competent authorities are proceeding with legal actions against these attempts,” the Ministry stated.
