MUSCAT – The event saw broad participation from government and private entities, as well as members of the local community.
The workshop focused on defining the strategic vision and mission for the governorate, with an emphasis on leveraging Al Dhahirah’s comparative advantages to develop future implementation plans.
This workshop, attended by numerous officials, marks the first phase of the project to develop Al Dhahirah Governorate’s strategy. It aims to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development and enhance the governorate’s position as a regional hub connecting Oman with neighbouring countries, aligning with Oman Vision 2040 and the nation’s five-year development plans.

The project will be implemented in several stages, adopting a participatory approach that enhances the local community’s role in shaping the governorate’s direction. The ultimate goal is to produce a comprehensive draft strategy that includes clear implementation plans.
