MUSCAT – Her Excellency visited the Link Campus University in Rome and the University of Naples Federico II in Naples, aiming to forge stronger educational partnerships.

Her Excellency and the accompanying delegation were welcomed at Link Campus University’s historic headquarters by Dr. Aldo Marquez, the General Director of the University. The visit included a guided tour of key university facilities and concluded with an informal meeting at the university’s artistic café, offering a platform for dialogue on future academic partnerships and mutual collaboration.
In Naples, Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Mahrooqi met with Professor Maria Francesca Frida, Commissioner for Student Affairs with Disabilities and Educational Challenges (DSA) and Director of the ‘Sinapsi’ Centre for Inclusive Education at the University of Naples Federico II. Discussions focused on inclusive education practices, student support mechanisms, and Italy’s experience in pedagogical training. Both sides explored avenues for collaboration, including the establishment of academic support centres for students with disabilities in Oman.
