MUSCAT – In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman reaffirmed its firm stance against any aggression targeting the territorial integrity of sovereign states.
“The Sultanate of Oman renews its strong appeal to the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to ensure Israel’s full withdrawal from the occupied Syrian territories, cease all hostilities affecting the lives of civilians, and implement a comprehensive political solution in accordance with UN Resolution 2254, which aims to restore stability in Syria through a Syrian-led transitional process.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the Sultanate of Oman’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and its solidarity with the Syrian people, calling for intensified international efforts to protect civilians and alleviate their suffering through the provision of necessary humanitarian assistance,” the Ministry stated.
