MUSCAT – The agreement was inked during a ceremony graced by His Excellency Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Sultanate of Oman.
It was signed Ameer Hamza, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pakistan Schools Oman, and Syed Haris Ali, owner of AZ Engineering, the firm selected as the main contractor for the project. Tameer, a consultancy led by Manzoor Ahmed, will oversee the design and development, bringing its expertise in educational infrastructure to the fore.

The Mabela project, covering an 8,000-square-metre plot and valued at nearly RO 3 million, is scheduled for completion by December 2026. Once completed, the campus will have the capacity to accommodate over 3,000 students and will offer cutting-edge academic and recreational facilities built to international standards.

This new development comes as Pakistan School Muscat marks 50 years of serving Oman’s diverse student community. Currently educating children of over 20 nationalities, the school has been instrumental in enriching the multicultural educational landscape of the Sultanate.
On the occasion, the school leadership and Board of Directors extended heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Education and the Government of Oman for their ongoing support. Special recognition was given to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for his visionary leadership and generous land grant, enabling the project to move forward.
The ceremony was attended by a number of notable community members and leaders, including Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf, Dr. Tauqeer Rizvi, Asif Mehmood (NESPAK), representatives from Air Sial, and other business and professional figures from the Pakistani community in Oman.
