MUSCAT – In his cable, His Majesty expressed his best wishes for continued progress, development and stability for the friendly country under the leadership of the President, hoping that the relations of cooperation and friendship between the two countries would continue to grow to serve mutual interests.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, on the occasion of his country’s National Day. In it, he expressed his best wishes to His Excellency for success and guidance in achieving further accomplishments and aspirations to serve the interests of his country’s people, and for the continued progress and growth of cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields.

His Majesty the Sultan also congratulated His Excellency Évariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi on the occasion of his country’s National Day. The message included His Majesty’s best wishes and greetings to His Excellency and the friendly people of his country.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda on the occasion of his country’s National Day. His Majesty expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency and to the people of his friendly country for the achievement of all the aspirations of their people in terms of progress, stability and growth.

His Majesty also sent a cable of congratulations to Her Excellency Mary Simon, Governor-General of Canada, on the occasion of her country’s National Day. In the cable, His Majesty expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes of good health and happiness to the Governor-General, and the friendly people of Canada further progress.
