MUSCAT : In an official statement, Oman called for immediate and comprehensive de-escalation, stressing that the actions taken by the U.S. threatens to widen the scope of conflict and poses a serious threat to regional and international stability.
The Sultanate emphasised that such military actions represent a grave violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, which prohibits the use of force and upholds the sovereignty of states and their legitimate right to develop their nuclear programmes for peaceful uses.
