No radiation spike after Iran nuclear site attacks, confirms IAEA

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed that no off-site radiation spikes have been detected following recent U.S. attacks on three nuclear facilities in Iran, including the highly sensitive Fordow site.

TEHRAN : In a statement posted on social media platform X, the IAEA assured that, based on initial data, radiation levels around the affected sites remain within normal limits. “Following attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran – including Fordow – the IAEA can confirm that no increase in off-site radiation levels has been reported as of this time,” the agency stated.

The IAEA noted that further assessments are underway and more updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
