MUSCAT: Russia on Friday said resuming Iran-US negotiations mediated by Oman is the only way to solve Tehran’s nuclear issues and not through Israeli military attacks.
Speaking at the General Assembly of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) in St. Petersburg, Russian foreign ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova emphasised that diplomatic dialogue, particularly Oman’s role is essential, not Israeli military action. She praised the Sultanate of Oman for its ongoing efforts to foster peaceful solutions in the region.
Russia’s remarks underline growing international support for Oman’s quiet diplomacy in regional and global conflict resolution.
