Muscat: “Update your information to ensure you get the correct tariff”, states the announcement from APSR, assuring subscribers of transparency and fairness in the application of residential electricity tariffs.
The Authority has listed the following structure for residential electricity tariffs:
• Residential Category: Applies to accounts supplied with electricity for residential purposes.
• Basic Accounts: Each residential subscriber is allowed up to two basic accounts.
• Basic Account with National Support: Only one primary account for subscribers who meet the eligibility criteria and approved conditions for national electricity support.
• Additional Accounts: Any residential electricity accounts exceeding the two basic accounts are classified as additional.
