MUSCAT : The talks are a continuation of previous negotiations between the two sides. It reflects their shared desire to seek peaceful solutions by enhancing the atmosphere of dialogue and exploring ways to reach an understanding on the outstanding issues between them.
The third round of talks, hosted by Muscat, addressed the basic principles, shared objectives, and technical aspects of the talks between the two sides. This round is expected to build on previous achievements.
