Muscat – The forecast, valid from May 9 to 11, 2025, also indicates a gradual decrease in northwesterly wind activity, contributing to the cooler conditions expected throughout the Sultanate.
Key weather highlights:
• Fog and low cloud formation anticipated late at night and early morning in parts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta, Dhofar, coastal areas along the Sea of Oman, and inland regions of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah. Reduced horizontal visibility is expected in these areas.
• Scattered rain showers, possibly thundery, are forecast over the Al Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas due to the return of localized cloud formations.
• Relative temperature drop will be most noticeable during nighttime and early morning hours, affecting daily routines and outdoor conditions.
