Muscat: The research team presented an innovative electronic indicator developed to track student behaviour across three core areas—psychological counselling, social counselling, and health awareness—at the school, governorate, and national levels.
The index is designed to provide real-time data to help decision-makers, educators, researchers, and parents gauge the extent of behavioural challenges among school students. By offering detailed statistical insights, the tool will enable targeted interventions, resource distribution, and evidence-based planning to support students across different regions better.
Officials noted the added value of the index lies in its ability to offer a transparent and interactive platform that sheds light on the impact of mental, social, and physical well-being on students’ academic and personal development.
