MUSCAT : The agreement aims to foster stronger collaboration, facilitate the exchange of professional insights, recommendations, and suggestions, ultimately serving their shared objectives.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Aziz Ambusaidi, Director General of the Directorate General of Vocational Colleges, and Engineer Zakaria bin Yaqoub Al Harrasi, Deputy CEO of Oman Airports.

The partnership seeks to create training opportunities for students at Salalah Vocational College in key fields such as electronics, electricity, specialized sales, and marketing, while also offering a platform for joint initiatives including seminars, workshops, and professional development programs.

In addition to practical training, the agreement focuses on exchanging visits and expertise between the two institutions to foster mutual learning and expose students and staff to real-world industry practices. This initiative supports the Sultanate’s broader goals of developing national talent, boosting local employment, and ensuring the relevance of vocational education in meeting the demands of Oman’s growing sectors, particularly in aviation and airport management.
