Muscat – In a statement issued last evening, the Ministry confirmed that the crescent was sighted after sunset on Monday, 29th Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 28, 2025. As a result, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, will be observed as the first day of Dhul-Qa’dah, 1446 AH.
“Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad, his family, companions, and all who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment,” the statement began.
The Ministry extended its prayers for the new month, asking Almighty Allah to make Dhul-Qa’dah and all the months of the year full of goodness, prosperity, and blessings.
