Muscat: Held at Afifa Al Ya’arubiya School in the Wilayat of Seeb, the forum brought together students, educators, and officials to promote national efforts in science, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI) in line with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

The event featured a visual presentation underlining the forum’s importance in building a creative generation ready to embrace future challenges. A play showcased the pivotal role of artificial intelligence in modern life, further engaging students and attendees.

The forum offered interactive and scientific corners, including exhibits on scientific innovation, student-led projects, virtual reality applications, and hands-on scientific experiments. These activities highlighted contributions from various participating entities and demonstrated the potential of youth-led innovation.
Dr. Abdullah bin Khalfan Al Shibli, Director of the Education Department in Seeb, underscored the transformative impact of AI in raising academic standards and enhancing the educational system in Oman.

School principal Wafaa bint Mohammed Al Jahouri emphasized the forum’s role in igniting students’ passion for science and showcasing their creativity. She highlighted the significance of AI in serving society and advancing sustainable knowledge-based development, calling it a tool to instill values of scientific inquiry and innovation among students.
The forum was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Salim bin Hamoud Al Harthy, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Community Service at Sultan Qaboos University, and was attended by several officials and education leaders.
