Muscat – Designed to be a dynamic hub for dialogue and innovation, the platform seeks to strengthen the connection between youth and official institutions. It will embrace and support youth-led initiatives, foster creative thinking, and encourage the active involvement of young people in decision-making processes that align with Oman Vision 2040.
According to the Governorate, the platform is committed to enhancing youth participation in comprehensive and sustainable development across the governorate’s wilayats. It aims to create an innovative environment across various fields, offer constructive input on municipal projects, and help shape both strategic and interim plans.
Key objectives of the platform include:

• Enhancing youth’s role in the comprehensive and sustainable development of North Al Batinah, while strengthening communication with the wider community and fostering an innovative environment across all sectors.
• Generating innovative ideas and proposals specifically for municipal work within the governorate.
• Actively participating in discussions surrounding strategic and interim plans and development projects, providing valuable youth perspectives and contributing to enhanced community awareness.
• Empowering youth by equipping them with essential tools and skills, thereby effectively harnessing their inherent energies and capabilities.
• Identifying and cultivating youth talents, encouraging innovation and development among the promising younger generation.
