MUSCAT: The General Federation of Oman Workers (GFOW) marked a proud moment as its Chairman received a prestigious regional honour.
Nabhan Ahmed Al-Battashi, Chairman of the GFOW Board of Directors, was awarded the Arab Labour Pioneers Award in recognition of over two decades of contributions to labour advancement at the national, Arab, and international levels.

The award was presented during the 51st session of the Arab Labour Conference, held in Cairo from April 19 to 26, 2025.
The recognition highlights the Federation’s continued efforts in strengthening union work and supporting workers across Oman.
