Muscat – Oman delivered a dominant showing, finishing the tournament with a total of 45 medals—20 gold, 18 silver, and 7 bronze—placing them firmly at the top of the final medal table. The United Arab Emirates came in second with 22 medals, including 8 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze, while Saudi Arabia finished third with 18 medals, comprised of 4 gold, 6 silver, and 8 bronze.
Among the tournament’s highlights was the outstanding performance of Oman’s national beach soccer team, which clinched the gold medal after defeating Saudi Arabia with a commanding 7-2 victory. Oman topped the competition with 11 points. The UAE secured the silver medal after winning their final match against Kuwait 5-1, finishing with 9 points. Saudi Arabia earned the bronze medal with 6 points.

In swimming, Oman’s national long course team closed their campaign in style by winning gold in the 5 km team race. The Saudi team came in second, while Bahrain took third place. In the individual 5 km race, Saudi swimmer Mohammed Al-Zaki claimed gold, followed by Omani swimmers Ayman Al-Qassimi and Nidal Al-Harasi, who won silver and bronze, respectively.

Oman’s sailing team also made a strong impact, collecting a total of seven medals in various events. In the general classification of the Optimist boats category, Omani sailor Khamis Al Shamakhi won silver, while his teammate Tarteel Al Hassaniah claimed bronze. First place went to Emirati sailor Khalifa Al Rumaithi. In the girls’ Optimist category, Tarteel Al Hassaniah secured gold, followed by Bahraini Malak Al Dosari in second and Emirati Madiya Al Neyadi in third. In the junior Optimist division, Mohammed Al Qasimi of Oman earned silver, behind UAE’s Zayed Al Hosani, with Qatar’s Tamim Khalid taking bronze.

In the ILCA 4 class for girls, Emirati sailor Marwa Al Hammadi won gold, with her teammate Alyazi Al Hammadi earning silver, and Bahraini Amina Al Sadiq placing third. In the boys’ ILCA 4 race, Omani sailor Abdul Latif Al Qasimi captured the gold medal, while UAE’s Mohammed Al Marzouqi and Bahrain’s Khalifa Al Dosari won silver and bronze, respectively.
In the girls’ ILCA 6 category, first place went to Emirati Duha Al Bishr, second to Kuwaiti Amina Abdullah, and third to Camelia Khalifa from the UAE. In the boys’ ILCA 6, Emirati Othman Al Hammadi won gold, Bahrain’s Dawood Abdullah took silver, and Oman’s Moatasem Al Farsi earned bronze. In the boys’ ILCA 7 event, Oman’s Hassan Al Jaberi claimed the gold medal, followed by Emirati Adel Al Baskti in second place and Bahrain’s Ahmed Sadiq in third.
