Muscat: the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion ramps up efforts to regulate the sector and ensure compliance with Commercial Agencies Law No. 26/77.

According to the Commercial Registry Secretariat, the total includes 458 new agencies, 944 renewals, and 413 expired registrations due to non-renewal or the end of the legal term. The ministry also carried out inspection campaigns to monitor agency activity and ensure adherence to the law.
