MUSCAT : Addressing the event titled ‘Municipal Councils and Their Role in Society and Development’, organised by the Musandam Governorate Branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) as part of its Ramadan evenings, His Excellency noted that municipal councils serve as effective channels for conveying the needs and suggestions of citizens.
He further emphasized the importance of activating the roles of municipal councils to keep pace with local development aspirations.
The forum aimed to highlight the crucial role that municipal councils play in improving infrastructure and enhancing local services to meet the evolving needs of society in the Musandam Governorate.
