MUSCAT : This decrease points to a significant shift in the Omani real estate market.
It is pertinent to note that residential apartment price index went down by 12.9 percent in the third quarter of 2024. In addition, the value of other homes also dropped by 6.5 percent, while the price index for villas increased by 2.5 percent.
Residential prices in the general index for real estate prices also decreased by 1.9 percent in the third quarter of 2024 to stand at RO 94.5 million, compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
