MUSCAT : This initiative, mandated under the Commercial Companies Law 18/2019, aims to streamline the process of submitting annual financial reports and facilitate compliance with annual general meeting requirements.
The electronic service, accessible through the Oman Business Platform (www.business.gov.om), provides a user-friendly interface for companies to complete and submit their financial reports. The initial phase of this digital transition focuses specifically on closed joint-stock companies.
To submit a financial report, companies are instructed to follow these steps:
Steps to Submit a Report:
- Log in to www.business.gov.om
- Select the Commercial Registration (CR) from the list and choose the ‘My CR Annual Reports’ option.
- Click ‘Create New Report’ and follow the prompts to verify the commercial registration details, review and edit the report, generate the final report, and approve and submit the report.
