Muscat – The meeting hosted specialists from various associations that support persons with disabilities, including the Association for Children with Disabilities, Association of Early Intervention of Children with Disability, the National Autism Cente, and the Al Noor Association for the Blind.

During the meeting, key topics were discussed, including the operational mechanisms of the disability diagnosis and evaluation center and a review of the age groups targeted by educational integration programs for individuals with disabilities.

It may be recalled that the Shura Council had approved the draft law on ‘Rights of Persons with Disabilities’ and referred it to the State Council for review in February.
