Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the fourth phase of its electronic attestation service, extending its reach to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan starting March 15, 2025, and to the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria from March 20, 2025.

The initiative, in line with Oman Vision 2040’s digital transformation goals, aims to streamline consular services by eliminating the need for applicants in these countries to physically visit Omani missions for attestation services.

The electronic attestation service, launched on January 23, 2025, is already operational in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, India, and Sri Lanka. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that more countries will be included in future phases in cooperation with Oman Post.
