MUSCAT : The action was taken in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and its executive regulations, as the sale of used vehicle tyres without proper safety measures is considered a violation.
Accordingly, legal measures were taken, and the seized goods were impounded. The prohibition of trading these goods aims to ensure the safety of consumers, the CPA pointed out.
