The ICMM is an international organisation focused on the promotion, preservation, and enhancement of maritime heritage. It facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise among maritime museums globally, aiming to improve the standards of preservation and display of maritime collections. The organisation also provides specialised advice on research and development in the field.
