MUSCAT : This marks the ninth consecutive year the citizen has contributed to the humanitarian effort, which aims to help individuals facing financial difficulties.
The donation, made as part of the 12th edition of the ‘Fak Kurba’ initiative, has benefited 49 people who met the programme’s criteria for assistance.
Dr. Hamad bin Hamdan Al Rubaie, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Lawyers Association, expressed deep gratitude to the donor for their ongoing support, emphasizing that this continuous cooperation reflects the deep humanitarian values embedded in Omani society.
Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Zadjali, General Supervisor of the ‘Fak Kurba’ Initiative, also commended the continued support from individuals, institutions, and companies, praising their contributions to restoring hope for those in need. He encouraged further donations to enhance the values of compassion, solidarity, and community cooperation, which are at the heart of the initiative.
Since its inception in 2012, the initiative has helped release more than 7,110 cases of financially struggling individuals. Donations for the initiative can be made through its official website, designated bank account, or the ‘Thawani’ application.
