Muscat: The seized 2,300 bags, each weighing 100 grams, violated Resolution No. (256/2015) and its amendments, which were disposed of after completing legal procedures.
The Consumer Protection Department reiterated that spoiled and unauthorized products pose serious risks to public health and safety and are strictly prohibited from trade. The department reaffirmed its commitment to market monitoring and warned that legal action would be taken against violators.
