Muscat – Held under the theme ‘Save Earth’ as part of the 54th National Day celebrations, the competition, which saw nearly 2,500 entries from schools across Oman, encouraged young artists to express their creativity while raising awareness about environmental issues. It pushed them to explore sustainability and nature’s beauty through their artwork.

Students were divided into three sections based on their grade levels, with age-appropriate mediums of art. A special ever-rolling trophy was also reserved for the best participating school, which was won by Indian School Bousher.

Winners of the competition are as follows:
Grades 3-5 (Colour Pencil):
1st: Yashwini Mohanraj, Indian School Darsait (Grade 4)
2nd: Parth Sinha, Indian School Al Ghubra (Grade 5)
3rd: Shreyas Bavesh, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (Grade 5)
Special Mention: Ishani K, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (Grade 3)
Grades 6-9 (Acrylics):
1st: Aayath Khanum, Indian School Al Ghubra (Grade 9)
2nd: Prajwal Ajay, Indian School Al Ghubra (Grade 8)
3rd: Prarthana Pratheep Kurup, Indian School Al Maabela (Grade 7)

Grades 10-12 (Oil Pastels):
1st: Astha Kumari, Indian School Al Ghubra (Grade 11)
2nd: Ronsy Dsouza, Indian School Bousher (Grade 12)
3rd: Aqeedath Khanum, Indian School Al Ghubra (Grade 11)
The event, which was open to all students in Oman, highlighted the importance of eco-friendly practices, waste reduction, and environmental protection. The organisers, aiming to instil a spirit of inclusivity, waived the registration fee and introduced a rolling trophy for the school with the largest enrolment, fostering even greater participation.
