Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, has issued Ministerial Decision No. (2025/38), granting judicial police authority to selected employees of the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA).
The decision, announced on March 5, 2025, authorizes 52 CPA officials to take immediate legal action against market violators, reinforcing efforts to enhance consumer rights and strengthen market oversight.
