MUSCAT : Article 1 of the resolution stipulates that employees holding the position of Personal Data Protection Specialist in the Directorate General of Policies and Governance at the Ministry will now have judicial police powers to enforce the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law, along with any related regulations and decisions.
Article 2 of the resolution repeals any conflicting provisions. The resolution, which will be published in the Official Gazette, will take effect the day following its publication.
