A sample of 1,300 establishments from various governorates has been selected, covering businesses of all sizes—large, medium, small, and micro.
The study will generate critical economic indicators, including:
Percentage of the digital economy’s contribution to GDP
Added value of IT and digital financial services
Employment trends and salary expenditures
Operational and transformation expenses
Investment in assets and capital formation
Hamad bin Nasser Al-Shikaili, Director of the Survey Project, emphasized the crucial role of cooperation from businesses in ensuring accurate data collection. He praised the positive response from establishments, which has accelerated data gathering and enhanced the survey’s quality.
