CPA highlights steps to register on Oman’s National Platform for Suggestions, Complaints and Reports

The Consumer Protection Authority is urging citizens, expatriates and companies to register on the National Platform for Suggestions, Complaints, and Reports (Tajawob) to contribute towards improving government services.

MUSCAT : The Tajawob platform, launched to streamline public feedback, allows individuals to submit suggestions, complaints, and reports with ease.

The Consumer Protection Authority has outlined simple registration steps for different categories of users, including citizens, residents, and companies.

For Citizens and Residents:
• Visit the Tajawob platform website: https://tajawob.om
• On the home page, click ‘Log In’.
• Select ‘Citizen’ or ‘Resident’.
• Choose ‘New User’.
• Enter your ID number and its expiration date.
• Review and accept the platform’s usage terms.
• Click ‘Register’.
• Enter the OTP (One-Time Password) you will receive via SMS.
• Your registration is now complete.

For Non-Residents:
For users outside Oman, the platform allows registration via email instead of a mobile number to receive the OTP for verification.
• Visit the platform’s website: https://tajawob.om
• Click ‘Log In’ on the home page.
• Select ‘Non-resident’.
• Choose ‘New User’.
• Enter your full name and email address.
• Follow the remaining registration steps to complete the process.

For Companies:
• Go to the website: https://tajawob.om
• Click ‘Log In’ and select ‘Company’.
• Choose ‘New User’.”
• Enter the commercial registration number and ID number.
• Review and accept the platform’s terms and conditions.
• Enter the OTP sent to your phone via SMS.
• Complete the registration process.

The platform serves as a unified, centralised system for receiving and managing suggestions, complaints, reports, and inquiries, the platform enhances response times, streamlines follow-ups, and improves the efficiency of handling requests.
