Muscat: The bank’s financial statements revealed that Muscat’s main branch accounted for the largest share of financing, with RO 38.3 million distributed to 837 beneficiaries. Rustaq branch followed, issuing RO 34.58 million to 813 citizens, while Nizwa branch provided RO 19.38 million to 423 beneficiaries.

Musa bin Masoud Al Jadidi, CEO of Oman Housing Bank, emphasized that the bank’s soft loans are tailored to meet the needs of different housing categories—home purchases, land purchases with construction, and house-building projects.

OHB has also taken major steps to modernize its services, preparing for a digital transformation that will introduce integrated electronic loan management systems. Additionally, internal approval mechanisms have been restructured, cutting the waiting period from 4 years to just 8 months—a significant improvement for loan applicants.

Al Jadidi reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to comprehensive financing solutions, ensuring equal access across Oman’s governorates.
