In his address, HH Sayyid Theyazin underscored the importance of strengthening dialogue between the government and citizens, particularly in decisions related to culture, sports, and youth affairs. He highlighted ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Education to identify and nurture talented individuals from an early age—whether in cultural or athletic fields.
A major focus of the forum was Oman’s Integrated Sports City Project, which will feature a state-of-the-art football stadium, positioning the Sultanate as a potential host for regional and international tournaments.

His Highness also noted the success of the Military Discipline Program, which saw the participation of around 700 students in 2024. He described it as an “enriching experience” that prepares Omani youth to face future challenges with confidence and discipline.
The forum also featured the second edition of the “Idea Makers” initiative, which recognizes innovative contributions across three key pillars:
- Challenges of government companies
- Academic research focused on localizing modern technologies
- Provincial development initiatives
His Highness honored the winners of the initiative, reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting innovation and youth-led solutions that contribute to Oman’s development.
