Muscat – The ROP stated that its Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation and the Special Taskforce Unit in Seeb, apprehended six individuals of Asian nationalities for violating labour and foreign residency laws.
Thirteen Asian expatriates were arrested for committing human trafficking by luring women of different nationalities and forcing them to engage in acts contrary to public morals.
Legal procedures are being completed, the ROP added.
