Oman’s SME authority and OQGN launch ‘Tasaeud’ programme to empower entrepreneurs

MUSCAT : Launched at the Oman Across Ages Museum, the three-day programme aims to provide entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and knowledge to strengthen their business operations.

The programme covers key areas such as financial management, marketing strategies, operational efficiency, and innovation in business models. Aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises, the programme includes specialised training sessions led by experts in various fields of entrepreneurship, equipping participants with essential skills in financial planning, cash flow management, marketing, and strategic business development.



Attended by 50 entrepreneurs from across the Sultanate, the event highlights the importance of market analysis, growth strategies, and networking opportunities with larger companies. These efforts are expected to provide emerging businesses with valuable insight into potential investment opportunities and commercial growth.

Issa Saleh Al Subaihi, Director of ASMED Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, highlighted the importance of such programmes in supporting the governorate’s entrepreneurs. He pointed out that the initiative aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040, aiming to boost the role of small and medium enterprises as a driving force in economic growth.

The Tasaeud programme also strives to foster stronger networking between entrepreneurs and large companies, creating opportunities for investment and collaboration that can further expand the scope of emerging businesses. This initiative is seen as a vital step in enhancing the sustainability of start-ups and fostering their readiness to compete in the market.

OQ Gas Networks reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing Oman’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, emphasising its role in empowering entrepreneurs with specialized training and direct support. The initiative is part of OQGN’s ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts, designed to create an integrated support system for emerging businesses, driving innovation, and contributing to the country’s sustainable economic development.
