MUSCAT : Oman has taken a major step toward sustainable transportation with the launch of its first green hydrogen vehicle fuelling station, developed by Shell Oman near Muscat International Airport. The station, with a production capacity of 130 kg of hydrogen fuel per day, marks a milestone in the country’s clean energy transition.

Mwasalat’s partnership with Oman Shell and Nama Power and Water Procurement aims to expand emission-free transportation services and support Oman’s Vision 2040 sustainability goals.

Mwasalat emphasized that its Omani drivers will undergo specialized training at the Mwasalat Training Institute, ensuring a high-quality and advanced transportation experience. The company is also working alongside public and private sector partners to expand hydrogen-powered mobility solutions.
