Muscat – The tender, which also includes civil works development to enhance the visitor experience, is set to close on March 12, 2025.

The invitation, open to local, SME, and international companies, calls for proposals to manage and operate the abseiling activity, with a focus on delivering a safe and engaging experience for visitors. Successful bidders will enter into an operating agreement with OMRAN, sharing annual returns on investment.

The operator will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the first year of operation, including removing all existing old bolts, installing information and direction signs, providing transport vehicles with necessary safety measures, and establishing a monitoring station to ensure safety.

The operator will also be tasked with marketing the cave on both local and international platforms, and initiating additional activities such as hiking and mountain biking trails. The development of an elevated boardwalk to protect the delicate features of the cave is also part of the plan.
