Muscat: Coordinated with the Musandam Governor’s Office, the delegation visited key landmarks across the governorate and received a detailed briefing on recent developments in the economic, tourism, and investment sectors. During the tour, His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining a strategic vision designed to transform Musandam into a premier destination for both investment and tourism.
The Governor emphasized Musandam’s strategic location as the gateway to the Arabian Gulf and one of the world’s critical maritime navigation points through the Strait of Hormuz. He highlighted the governorate’s competitive advantages, including its unique natural terrain, diverse marine activities, and rich cultural and historical heritage, creating an attractive investment environment.

His Excellency the Governor stressed that these projects aim to enhance Musandam’s attractiveness as an investment and tourism destination, with a focus on environmental sustainability and integration of development with the local community, noting that these efforts come within the framework of the “Oman 2040” vision to enhance economic diversity and attract quality investments.
These projects are expected to contribute to providing new job opportunities, enhancing the tourism sector, and raising the level of services and infrastructure in the governorate, making it a regional center for growth and prosperity. It is noteworthy that these tours include, in addition to Musandam Governorate, Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah Governorates.
