MUSCAT : Article 63 of Oman’s Labour Law asserts that employers must inform workers in writing of any charges against them before a penalty can be imposed.

Oman’s Labour Law clarifies that employers are obligated to notify employees in writing of any charges before proceeding with disciplinary action. The worker must be granted the opportunity to defend themselves, and the employer must conduct a thorough investigation of this defense. Additionally, the proceedings are to be documented in a formal written report.
